How are the chips put down?
After the slab is ground and patched, we roll a base coat and toss vinyl chips over it until the base is fully covered. When it cures, we scrape off the loose chips and lock it all in with a clear topcoat. The prep follows the same steps as our garage epoxy process.
Which blends work best here?
Browns, tans, and reds blend with the local clay, and grays hide gravel dust. We bring sample boards so you can look at them in your own garage light. If you want a smooth showpiece instead, see metallic coatings.
Flake questions
Is flake good for a shop with a tractor?
Yes. The extra thickness and texture help, and we can add grit to the topcoat.
How do I wash it?
Blow or sweep it, then hose or mop with a mild cleaner.
